About the Practitioner

 My name is Nicole Forge and I have been a Massage Therapy practitioner since 2008.  Graduated with a 4.0 GPA from the much accredited Denver School of Massage Therapy in Westminster, CO. 

Making my mark on the wellness industry started in Breckenridge, Colorado. Working on athletes and heavily used bodies in high altitude.  Injuries and overused muscles were assessed as well as providing vacation relaxation time. This experience molded me into the well-rounded and solution seeking therapist I am today.

My education includes Swedish massage, Deep tissue massage, Sports massage and stretching, Reflexology, Trigger Point therapy, Cranial-Sacral therapy (level 1), Pre-Natal massage, Injury massage, Hydrotherapy, Shiatsu, Aromatherapy and Structural Integration & Assessment.  

My massage style encompasses all of these theories to achieve complete wellness.  I have also studied 25 hours in a cadaver lab, enabling me to essentially see the body through the skin.  My knowledge of the human anatomy leads my hands to the deepest areas of tissue, such as bony attachment sites, ligaments and tendons. This helps to improve the health of the body tissues, not only creating relaxation, but also achieving longer lasting relief.

Recently, I have embark on a new journey with Yoga.  I had been practicing yoga on and off for the last 10 years and within the last 5 years have made it a consistent part of my life.  Through witnessing the true transformation within my mind and my body, I was inspired to study the instruction of yoga. Thus allowing me to share the benefits of regular yoga practice, all the while taking my knowledge for the human anatomy further.  I graduated from training in December of 2012 from CorePower University in Boulder, Colorado. 

This training specialized in Hot Yoga (an interpretation of Bikram style, using a 26 posture series of static holds), Vinyasa Yoga (flowing postures connecting breath with movement), and Hot Power Fusion (a combination of the two styles), along with tools for meditation such as Pranayama (breath work).

As of May 2015, I have been certified in Unnata® Aerial Yoga, taking yoga practice/instruction into the air with silk suspension hammocks!
